Beach || Hayley and Chris
Hayley wanted to laugh but she didn’t like the way chris dismissed the whole situation. She pushed herself away, shaking her head grumbling to herself. Everything was falling apart around her and she couldn’t stop it. she kept quiet as she stood up and dusted herself off. “being raped is something serious chris. you can’t just shrug it off.” she muttered to herself before setting foot across the sand.
Chris stood up and sighed. “I know, Hayley. I know. I just…” He paused, trying to find the right words to say. “I guess… I just don’t feel comfortable talking about it. I know she’s our friend and that rape is a really serious thing, but I just don’t know what to say about the whole situation. Okay? I’m sorry.” He explained, hoping she would at least understand a little.
